March 2010 will find our First year group beginning to discover a new methodology – the physicals general method of case work. Time spent with our medical science teacher will introduce the students to an understanding of the circulatory system and the intricacies of the heart and cardiac problems which may arise.

This month the Second Year students consider the complexities of the liver with the College specialist teacher in Medical Sciences. Homeopathically they will discover how to address liver problems and other areas such as asthma and hay fever are explored. New remedies are introduced and case work methodology is extended to begin to learn the layers method and techniques.

Our Third Year group will study how to respond sensitively and appropriately to a patients’ emotional state. The heart function is addressed in more detail with cardiac failure explored and nutrition for the health of the heart introduced. New remedies and bowel nosodes pack into a busy weekend of learning.

Our Fourth Year students explore lung conditions alongside learning the correct nutrition for optimum lung function. Homeopathic remedies around these conditions are introduced and Sunday finds the group considering an important group of remedies the Natrum Group. More essential remedies are introduced and a deeper look at the history of homeopathy tops off an interesting weekend.
